By the grace of God and His all-holy Mother, a new holy monastery has opened in the spiritually thirsty new world for the common benefit of Orthodox Christians, with the blessing of His Grace Metropolitan Alexios of Atlanta, and of our spiritual father, the Very Reverend Elder Ephraim. The zeal and desire of the Greek inhabitants of Florida is also praiseworthy, since it is due to their fervent prayers and efforts that the Panagia deigned to bless them with the establishment of a monastery dedicated to her.
The Holy Monastery of the Annunciation was established in September of 1998. The nuns in it trace their spiritual heritage to the ancient monastery of the Honorable John Forerunner in Serres. This historic monastery was established in the thirteenth century and is one of the most frequently visited pilgrimages visited in northern Greece.
Visitation Hours
The Monastery of the Annunciation is open to all the pious pilgrims every day from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
The small church of the monastery is dedicated to the Annunciation of Theotokos and is celebrated on March 25th every year. For the yearly celebration many monks and nuns from all the Greek Orthodox monasteries of North America, as well as a great crowd of pious laymen, congregate to glorify and venerate the grace-filled Protectress of the monastery and of the whole world.

Guidelines for Hospitality
The Holy Monastery is offering hospitality according to the following guidelines. A visitor may stay over only after a prior telephone arrangement with the sisterhood of the monastery. The maximum lenght of each stay depends on the spiritual needs of the pilgrim and is decided by the sisterhood.
