Храм св. Марины и св. Кенельма (Гримсби)

The Community of St Marina and St Kenelm is part of the one, worldwide Orthodox Christian Church. It shares its traditions and forms of worship with millions of other Orthodox Christians in Britain and around the world.

The Priest is Fr Michael Harry who is also the Priest of the Othodox Church of St Aethelheard in Louth. He started holding services in Grimsby, originally at the Ice House, in June 2004 and for the following five years the growing Community was dependent on the hospitality of various churches in Grimsby.

In 2009 however the opportunity came to start using one of the Chapels in the Grimsby Cemetery off Scartho Road. Many kind people were instrumental in this, and it was with great joy that the Community became key holders in October.

The Grimsby and Louth Communities form part of the Antiochian Orthodox Deanery of the United Kingdom and Ireland, and their bishop is His Eminence Metropolitan John. The members of both Communities came together in November 2008 to welcome Metropolitan John on his first visit to the area as Archbishop.

As you come out of Grimsby, the entrance  is on the left, just after a pedestrian crossing and before the traffic lights where you turn to the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.  It is marked by stone pillars. There is parking on the approach road inside the main gates. Bus services No. 8, 9, 9a, & No 51 go along Scartho Rd.
