The Parish of Saint Cuthbert

serves Orthodox Christians from many different countries.

Christians from this country too have increasingly found a home with us and become Orthodox Christians.

They have found in its distinctive worship and its unchanged and unchanging beliefs and way of life the fullness of the ancient Christian Faith, carefully guarded and nurtured since Apostolic times.

We are within The Patriarchate of Constantinople, part of the Archdiocese of Parishes of the Russian Tradition in Western Europe, the deanery of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

CHESTERFIELD

Finding the Eyre Chapel from the Railway Station

From the Railway Station cross over in MALKIN STREET (beside The Chesterfield Hotel).
Continue up the hill.

ON FOOT     

At the top of the hill turn RIGHT
and look for NEWBOLD ROAD.
(A few yards up on the right is Holy
Trinity church.)
Keep on this road for about a mile and a half.

BY BUS                                                    

Cross over the big car park heading for the Co-op.
Go down Elder way and look for No 10 bus for NEWBOLD.
Buses leave at 9.20 am and 9.50 am.
Ask to be put down at The Nag’s Head pub.  

WHEN YOU HAVE REACHED NEWBOLD

Look on your LEFT for THE NAG’S HEAD pub.
The Eyre Chapel is behind it, visible from the road.
Go through the car park.
